Thank you for those Roy. Looks like London was full of Thomas Joneses at that time! My Thomas Jones must have been a neighbour of the Thomas Jones in the bankrupt directory - they were both in the same street. Mine was a milkman at Rolls Buildings in Fetter Lane, though at some time prior to that he was at Fishmonger's Alley. I know he died in the late 1830's so thanks very much for the lookup. |
