Is there anyone who knows details about the Royal Flying Corps. My wifes granfather was a Lt We have his service record which states that he was grounded after an illness. With wings in his cap badge he had in a photo Does it mean he was a pilot Were all officers either a pilot or observer. When he was alive he refused to talk about WW1 and his service in the RFC |
