Don't get too excited. The time span is not great and, although the number of pages sounds impressive, there are not that many newspapers covered yet. I think I counted twenty-four and some of them are quite obscure. It's a start, though. |

The National Library of Wales is digitising 2 million pages of historical newspapers and journals relating to Wales, completely free of charge to users. It will launch the new resource on its website early in 2013. |
