Can anyone recommend a good family tree software product to put my tree information from GR on to. Ideally, I'd like to export all information on my GR tree on to this standalone family tree product........any suggestions pleae. |

Family Tree Maker seems to be the most popular. |

I've never tried to transfer data in a Gedcom file but it looks like you will lose any photos you have on your Genes tree. This is what Genes have to say:- |

Having tried several, I settled on FTM which I have used now for several years. |

I and several others on here use Familyhistorian. Although it works very easily at the basic level, there are many features which might prove useful as you get into it. Despite using it for many years, I've probably only scratched the surface! |
