This is a new one on me, but i have just found a marriage of a Charles Crick to a Douglas Ogden Roobottom in 1861, for a minute i thought it could be the first same sex marriage, but having googled, females did have the name Douglas in the 17th &18th centuries, although this marriage is in the 19th century

You learn something everyday.

And Florence was orginally a boys name.
