paul if you go to the registry office you can pick up your certificates from most of them on the day you go |

I also love the way the people on Heir Hunters manage to acquire certificates within hours when the rest of us mere mortals have to wait days or even weeks. The marvels of television I suppose. |

That information was only added to death certs from c 1970 it does too depend on the informants knowledge |

Can anyone tell me why, on BBC's Heir Hunters, when they apply for a death certificate the person's date and place of birth is included but when I apply for one from the GRO that information isn't included? |
