Thank you all, yet again. MarieCeleste, maybe he shrunk with age? I do have his parents names already. Yes, he did die in the USA as stated. Must have been an adventurous lad. Joined up twice in two different counties. Shot over to the USA between them both. Wow. Thanks, SylviainCanada, Choccy, Panda,China.2008 and MarieCeleste, rootgather and Glitterbaby. anne.

This is Caleb number 2
weird!!!!!!!
Passenger Record
First Name: Caleb Last Name: Dryden Ethnicity: England, English Last Place of Residence: Bristol, England Date of Arrival: Oct 22, 1909 Age at Arrival: 23y Gender: F Marital Status: W Ship of Travel: Lusitania Port of Departure: Liverpool Manifest Line Number: 0001
The actual image of the Passenger Manifest covers 2 pages.
The image actually shows that they started registering Caleb Dryden as number 6, got half way through the registering, and then realised that they had confused him with a Walter Humphreys, a 62 year old man, so they crossed out the information on page 2 ......... leaving it as is on page 1.
It is VERY confused!!
I don't think I have ever seen a record quite like this one!!
The web site is http://www.ellisisland.org/
You have to register with them, but it is free.

On the arrival record for the 2 October 1909 departure posted above his name is crossed out indicating he didn't travel. Looks like he actually departed a week or so later:
New York, Passenger Lists, 1820-1957
Name: Caleb Dryden Arrival Date: 22 Oct 1909 Birth Date: abt 1886 Birth Location: England Birth Location Other: austrick Age: 23 Gender: Male Ethnicity/ Nationality: English Port of Departure: Liverpool, England Port of Arrival: New York, New York Ship Name: Lusitania
He was a warehouseman. His nok in England was a Mrs Greenwooed, Little Harton Lane, Bradford. Coincidentally, he was going to a Mrs Greenwood at 3526 Braddock Street,Philadelphia.
He was 5' 6" tall with fair complexion, brown hair and blue eyes.
The Chelsea Pensioners service record has Caleb Dryden on enlistment in 1902 with fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes and 5' 4½" tall.

Is it possible that he was what was referred to as an "out pensioner"? That is someone who was in receipt of a pension but not living in the Royal Chelsea Hospital.

Caleb seemed to be the family name, the first one I found was in the 1700's, Then there were least four! He sailed to USA in 1909 but I had him on a different ship. Thanks to all but still wonder how he got to be a Chelsea Pensioner? I found that bit on the link that asks if you had any war heroes in the family. Maybe they got it wrong eh? Thanks again for your help everyone.. anne.

Ok, I have this gent, born 1884/6. Austwick,/ Skipton. Then I have him sailing to the USA and dying in Pennsylvania in 1983. Was happy with that. (Not him dying.) But now I have found a Caleb born Austwick/Skipton 1884 ended up a Chelsea Pensioner. He was just 18 y/o when he joined. I don't think this is possible. Any ideas please? anne.
