The ultimate way to 'stop' a thread you have started is to delete it lol, but generally I wouldn't advise doing so as the info on it might come in useful at a later date, either for you or someone else. |

Elaine, the 'mark as answered' facility is only on Find Ancestors and ( I think ) Find Living Relatives boards, not Genealogy, or General :-) |

I'm sorry,but I can't seem to see tick as answered....only report.,edit.,delete.The only other words in blue/green are..Elaine & Post Date. |

To get the thread ticked and marked as answered you have to click on the bluey/green writing above your first post which says tick as answered (where you can also edit, delete etc.) Adding answered to your thread title won't do that. |

Elaine, for the green tick to show you have to actually click the "Mark this as answered" button on one of the posts on the thread. |

Lol....don't I know it,Reggie......my gt grandad(at least who I thought was!) died two yrs before my grandad was born,and there's only 3 baptisms,and 10/11 children! :-( |
