please can anyone help
re:John Davies
I have found my great GF above on the census records at Glan Rhyd hospital Bridgend Glam S Wales in 1911
I have since obtained a death cert for him his death from Epilepsy in 1912 at the forementioned hospital.
I would like to know if there is anyway I can get access to his medical records to learn more about him.
The hospital is closed now and a new hospital built on the site Not an asylum now.
Does anyone know how I can find the records would they be at the Glamorgan records office or with the Health Board and who could I contact?
thank you if you can advise me

According to this site, Glamorgan Record Office hold the records

http://www.archiveswales.org.uk/anw/get_collection.php?
inst_id=33&coll_id=76330&expand=

As your Grt Grandfather died in 1912, there should be no problem accessing his records. It's out side the 100 year closure as it is.

If you can't get there yourself, the Staff will probably search and copy them for you, but are likely to make a charge.
