A lot of people will not realise what the 36% actually means when showing on FreeBMD or that the work is done by volunteers.

Marriages Mar 1966 (36%)

means that only 36% of this quarterly volume has been transcribed - I saw no surnames past the G's on a quick look

There are no completed marr volumes past 1962q2, and 3 of the earlier vols in the 1960s, plus 3 in the 1950s are not essentially complete.

Looked at the image on Ancestry and will do a correction as they have the middle initial of one gentleman wrong

The entry on FreeBMD is not complete but that is probably because the record has not been fully transcribed yet.

So actually the male did not marry the female named on the record.

Please can anyone help, ive looked up a marriage and there was only one matching yet there was two surnames next to spouse in the marriage recod, does it mean they were both married before.
If anyone can help I could pm the record I am talking about.
