All the help on GR is provided by the membres, and every member who helps on this site looks at all Boards ..............

The T&Cs for GR do request no more than 1 thread on a topic ...................

this is to avoid duplication of work being done by the helpers.

You already have replies on this thread and on the other one, which could mean that 2 people could have duplicated each other's work.

The T&C is not intended to hamper anyone looking for information, but rather to increase the chance of the information being found by helpers working together, using their expertise, and their memberships in all manner of sites.

I just looked at all the records on FMP (inluding millitary records and various records for the Indian Sub-Continent). Unfortunately I couldn't find any further information for you. :-(
Perhaps somebody else might have access to more records than me ;-)

Perhaps someone with a sub to FMP could check the military records for possible marriage and childrens births to se if further info is available.

Alexander Maylark Matthews
I am yet again trying to find anyone who has any information on the above name
he had 4 children all girls
Virginia Esther 1858-1937 I have her marriage records she married twice
Adelaide Constance 1860-1893 I have her marriage records
Cordelia Gertrude 1865 - ? I have her marriage records
Milvall Caroline 1870 - ? I have her marriage records
Seeing the dates of birth of the children their might has been several wives.
Any information or help on the mother of these girls or where the father originated from would be of great help. I think he might have been born in England but cannot find any trace of him
