On the above site i came across a birth also the christening in Ireland, my query is on the christening given as 792 Portadown Armagh, what does this mean. |

There are lots of births for 792 Portadown Armagh it seems - must be a kind of code for an area? Lots of other areas have a number at the start also - check this out: |

In England, the address was sometimes given for the Workhouse Infirmary instead of "Workhouse Infirmary" |
