Trying to find a family tree which would include a Elizabeth Williams, she could have been born about 1894 unsure where, and whether the name ' abbott' comes within this family.She was related to 'The Symington Soup' Company. all help on previous message appreciated.

Howard's grandfather was William, b Sanquhar, Dumfries-shire, according to the 1871 census . (Ancestry has the POB transcribed incorrectly as Langenhoe, Dumfriesshire)

William Symington, a young canny Scot who was both a businessman and an inventor, moved to the Midlands in 1827 to make his fortune. He founded the original company selling Tea, Coffee and groceries.

That said, I can't spot him on the census in England.
