I cant seem find anything else on Robert Walker and his family? I seems Albert Edward Walker was born out of wedlock.. or Robert Walker was previously married and the child is from then??

It probably means that the child hasn't been named yet.

In all likelihood it would be Albert Edward Baker b 1901 as shown on the 1911 census, born before his mother married.

The child showing on 1911 census - Robert age 10 is a mistranscription. The image shows 1.10, which I think means 1 year 10 months old.

I agree with you, it should be 1 yr 10 months old


thus meaning he was born ca 1909

his birth registration MIGHT be found in the June or September quarter 1909

and this is probably Robert's birth registration ...................

Getting confused here - are you looking for more details of Robert Walker b1869 or Robert Walker 1909?

If you were trying to trace the Walker family back in time, you need the MC between Robert Walker and Esther Baker.. That will give you their father's names if known, as well as occupations, address at the time and the names of witnesses. The latter may turn out to be relatives.

What do you need to know about Robert 1909? His own MC would give his occupation at the time and his address. Depending on his actual DOB, he may not have been in the ER (age of majority was 21). However, it might be useful to arrange for an ER lookup at the nearest large library to see who was registered at the address.
