I have just recieved the death cert of the man who I suspect is my grandfather's older brother. Birth details, 1901 and 1911 below |

I'm not sure that a spastic paraplegic would have been able to work - but that is only supposition. I have no first-hand knowledge of the condition |

Jan, if it were me I would be 100% satisfied - apart from the evidence you have, I can't see another Joseph who fits that death cert. |

No Reggie there is no mention of a disability on the 1911 census, although it does say on the 1901 that he was a parcel van boy and again as formerly a van guard on the 1911 |
