Could anybody help me with my search i am looking for brian griffin born 1970 he is from birmingham not sure if still lives there and his mothers name is joyce cynthia griffin formally holloway unfortuatly i believe she has sadly passed away would be very gratefull for any help att all whether somebody has him on there tree or knows him in person i am new to this so dont really no how it all works

Have you looked in Search Trees for him ?

If you have tried to contact him through that way and he hasnt answered it maybe he has altered his email address

well can only see a Brian Griffin born 1948 in search trees he cant be the son of Joyce ?????

The person who has Joyce has the spelling of Bryan, though I can't see that there is a Griffin/Holloway birth in that spelling either?

He isn't listed in Search Trees either. How did you find him on this site

I typed in the name joyce holloway and the name attached was bryan and because the details were the correct for joyce i just assumed it would be the correct one i habe found another bryan born in australia which does match some other info that i have as joyce was in australia at that time

Well that explains it then .you didnt say Joyce was in Australia at any time.

Looking at Joyce info on search trees there are two members who have her listed Bryan and John

If Bryan hasn,t replied them maybe he changed his email address. Doesn't mean he is refusing to reply .

Have you checked to see if he has opened your PM

As Bryan's membership number is about 9 years old there is a very good chance he has now changed his email address if your message has been unopened

Sorry for the confusion i am still gathering information everday so have only just realised that him maybe being born in australia might be worth looking at he did however come back to birmingham but then moved back abroad as he was in the forces not sure as to where i have checked my sent message and theres an envelope next to it which im asuming means he hasent read it thankyou all for your help as you can probly tell i am very new to this so having great difficulty

Hi ... the 'National Archives of Aus' (on-line) has this:
Kenneth Arnold Griffin b1941/ Joyce Cynthia Griffin b26/11/1942 (nee Holloway) and Janice Elizabeth Griffin b 6/9/1967 dep Southampton on the 'Fairsky' 13/12/1968 - (assisted passage). No mention of Brian/Bryan -but as suggested - probably born in Aus.

If you think he MAY be in Aus ... you could try the 'National Library of Aus' (on-line) ..it has an 'Ask a Librarian' service ...and hopefully they can trace him via electoral rolls -past & present. If you knew which State they settled in -it would certainly help.
