Reggie says it like it is!
Google is a wonderful aid

WESLEYAN, BIGGLESWADE CIRCUIT, BEDFORDSHIRE googled makes for interesting reading. Prob find out things you'd not even thought of.

Reggies reply is no more offensive that Andrews above it.

archives cost money to run- it isn't unreasonable to charge. Immaterial that you don't expect to/cant afford to!

Right, back to James Hills........

Yes, but I am 17... I do go through google and many other sources first.. If I can't find anything, then I ask others for advice.. But Reggie posts in every thread I make an always seems to comment in an offish way as If I am stupid....

I will have to start from Arthur Hill which is my great-great and then go back, but I have started already and am stuck on JAMES HILLS ..

Reggie does have a good point -

As Andrew posted 'A google search is often your best bet for questions like this'.
That would be how he found the location answer for you.

Sure, you have to experiment with the wording, and may have to plough through a load of dross. The satisfaction of finding your own results is worth the effort ;-)

OK - didn't realise that.

Added - any fees charged would be for the FHS, not the Archivist.
:-)

Ok, now this "REGGIE" guy has a problem with me and my posts (don't know why)...

I did get in touch with one of those contacts at the society but they were expecting money..

Didn't a volunteer archivist (who is also GR member) for the Biggleswade FH society contact you last week off board?????

If you haven't already - check your inbox!

You will find it beneficial if you learn to use google to find info..................

Yes. Lots of my family baptised and married at a Wesleyan Chapel. You will need to find the Registers in the local record office to check yours.

But would baptisms, marriages and burials have been held at the Biggleswade Wesleyan Chapel?

A google search is often your best bet for questions like this.

Try
