Hello,
I have been absent from "searching" for a little while now and I am really struggling, is it me or are the "new & improved" sites more difficult to use?. I am finding GR really strange and more complicated and have just been onto family search/IGI and that is even worse!!

I think I have lost my touch :-( LOL!!

but eh ho, upwards and onwards as they say. regards. M.

Not sure about GR, wellybobs, as I rarely use it for searching but agree about familysearch. Trying to sort the wood from the chaff is even more difficult and it has changed again in the last few days.

Agree about IGI I used to use it on a daily basis, but since it changed rarely use, think it is not user friendly anymore,

Whew,
thank goodness, I really was beginning to think it was only me,When I look back on my files and I have individual records from family search I have to wonder what makes them think it is better now........ you look for a name with birth date, hoping to find parents, and they give you anything but what you are looking for. Rubbish I say, talk about "fixing wot ain't broke" !!

had my rant now ;-)

Can't comment on GR - never, ever, use it for research......but the IGI is dreadful now.........
