The parents who declare their 10 year old child was born in Herefordshire, when I have a copy of his birth certificate in the South Wales valleys. |

A grt gran born in 1852 and is with one of her married daughters in 1911 but then disappears. No remarriage found or death even though money wasted on buying several certs after 1911. |

The couple who just give their birthplace in every census as "Ireland" and whose Christian and surnames are really common Irish names. No hope of finding them without a town or village name. |

The great-grandfather who has different first names for his father on his marriage cert to those on his brother's (if they were going to invent they should have consulted!). Who has a middle name denoting a family surname that can't be traced. Who was in an upper crust military academy while his brother was in the workhouse. |
