I have just ordered one from the 1870s just because I am nosey :-D This person is said to be granddaughter on one census but daughter on the next...then she gives her grandfather as her father on her marriage cert :-S I have the choice of five unmarried daughters (of child bearing age) at the time she was born....my own gt grandmother was only 12 (so didn't include her in the list of suspects) hope it isn't her :-0 |
