im looking for a david alan cox had me in 1988 in chelmsford with joyce maria wells he has two previous kids sarah and alan he was born in london area please help

A few questions to help us, help you

When roughly was he born?
Does your mum know the names of any siblings?
When did your mum or you last have contact with him?
Have you had any contact with Sarah or Alan and do they know his where-abouts?

You could search all trees on this site and see if he is lised on any trees, then send a message to the tree owner.

Have a look on facebook and other social networking sites to see if he has an account.

Your post doesn't 'read' as if you were adopted but if you were, add your name to the Adoption contact register and hope that he does as well.

Is he mentioned on your birth cert?

Does'nt look like it you were registered in your mothers 2nd married name and her maiden name

Edit - also registered in the name of Cox

when did you last see him and where?

Ask your mother if she knew how old he was in 1987/8..................and whether she knew the names of his parents

Is he likely to be aware of your existence?
