Help re ordering a birth cert.

My friend is hoping to find a half sister, but does not have a lot of info and GRO want exact DOB, parents names etc, so is it possible to still get this cert without all that info. |

I don't think you can get a cert less than 50 years old without this information. |

Thank you Jan, but the birth was 1969 ish, and illegitimate so probably not in the papers, sadly. |
