Of course, von der Fuhr might have been her maiden name ................ but that does not mean that that was the name under which she married.

She might have been married before

There is a Family Tree on ancestry that shows a Rosemarie Ireland as born in 1912, and dying in 1990, buried in Esmond-Evergreen Cemetary, Iosco Co, Michigan


There is NO other information, no connection to any other part of a tree.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

William, how did you get back to them, please can you give us BMD's for her parents?

I have a birth Rosemaria Ireland, Mother Maria formerly VON DER FUHR,
I might be wrong but the name sounds German. I cannot find a marriage between Maria and Frederick Ireland in the UK
If they did marry in Germany how would I go about trying to find them
