They aren't in prison on the 1911 - perhaps they'd just been released? |

The ones on Ancestry only go up to 1892. |

You might have to ask Surrey Record Office for advice, and to see if they have historical newspapers on fiche. The only prison close to Croydon which comes up on an internet search is High Down which was opened in the 1990s |
