I did not know then a niece had a tree, but now I do. There is also a tree belonging to a sister and I am helping the younger sister to trace Julie. |

I thought the tree belonged to her niece, daughter of the mothers brother |

The family trees belonged to an older sister, who also doesn't know what happened to her as she was born a year before and was never told. |

In that case, the hospital might well have handled everything. Be prepared for an unmarked grave shared with others. |

I would start by asking at the nearest cemetery or churchyard to the hospital or the family's address at the time. If you don't know where the family lived then the address should be on the death certificate. |
