Can you post the 1841 census out of interest please - be blowed if I can find a c1776 William Luffman in the workhouse. The only one I see is in Whiteparish married to Ann |

Is there a chance this is them 1851? Although Charles has wrong birth year, his age is quite hard to read: |

Had a look at that one Brummiejan - think he's 74, Charles 47 so b 1804 and William 44 - have a look at the sons 4's |

Have looked at the 1841 census you refer to ElizabethK - I would say that the older Mary is 80 looking at the original. Other 6's on the page are quite obviously 6's, hers looks more like an 8. There is an 8 to compare with on the opposing original page and if you can go back to the previous image a Sarah aged 8. Can't read her surname but look for a Mary Snellgrove aged 40 and she is a couple of lines above her. |
