Sennen and St Creed (Sancreed)

Does anyone know how far apart Sennen and St Creed or Sancreed are in Cornwall as my relation appears to have been born in one but christened in the other.

Seems to be about 48 miles between them

Using Google Maps, Sennen to Sancreed is under 6 miles by road.

There is a st creed too and google maps found both and gave the 48 mile distance
