Dose anybody know what happened to James he was. Married to Jane House in 1839 his last record was having a son Henry in 1853 no record in the 1861 census or of any death certificate can anybody help please. |

Have you been able to discount this death. if he was an Agricultural Labourer he might not have died in his home district. There are James Critchells in tthe Dorchester area on the census however. You would have to try and track them through the census. |

Even in 1871 James isn't noted as deceased, this doesn't mean he was still living though, |
