I have some problems with things which I change not being saved. In one instance I add Roman Numerals to children who have died and later siblings named the same i.e. John I John II and John III, the system saves them as John Ii John Iii.

More worrying is my own divorce. Every time I try to save my Divorced? YES it comes back NO. If the ex gets hold of this she'll be after me for twenty years alimony! :-0

Robb, Purves, Rutherford, Bald - Scotland, Fife and Berwickshire.

Obviously the system capitalises the first letter in the name field. Have you tried using ordinary numbers ie 1, 2 etc?

As for the divorce problem. Have you tried saving then closing the window? It might have changed when you re-load. If it doesn't, contact support to ask for help

How do you imagine that the GR system could possibly identify Roman numerals?

......just use normal numbering.........or put the Roman numerals in the second forename box, where the info WILL be saved

I have a number of instances of 'renaming' - mine are all males.

I have never thought to differentiate with a suffix. Is there any good reason for wanting to do this?
