My father in law has recently died .My husband will inherit everything and we have been looking through photographs> We have discovered a tin containing photos from the late 1940's early 50's, some of them taken during f-I-l National Service in the RAF based at Little Rissington the rest taken around Essex where he was born. I was wondering if there is any site where I could gain any more information about these photos. Thank you for any help you can give |

Thank you DC have not been on this site for a while as there is still so much to sort out .Have scanned some of the photos and shown them to family members who are enjoying reminiscing and trying to identify them .I will try the sites suggested and see if any else has any memories. A good reason to write on photos as we do not know who many of the people in them are |

The best way to deal with old photographs is to take a photo of them with a good digital SLR camera using the RAW format. |

You could also try Forcesreunited and search by location (RAF Little Rissington) and the years of your father-in-law's national service |
