Hi My Grandfather Was William Ernest Hughes, I have his Army Records and know that he joined the Army in Liverpool in 1880 and he was just one month of being 19 so I thought his birth certificate would be easy to find nNO SUCH LUCK just had email from National archives they cant find him, has anyone any ideas please.
