Hi

Can anyone help me in the search for my great great granddad. I am having trouble finding his birth/baptism.

His name is CHARLES ASKIN and he was born according to other certificates and varying census records in 1832. He was the son of JOHN ASKIN CHARLOTTE ASKIN and on 13 March1859 married SUSANNAH SARGESON. CHARLES ASKIN died on 16 May 1901in Hunslet Leeds. He was apparently born in Wath, later moving to Hunslet in Leeds where he spent most of the rest of his life.

I have spent varying periods over the last few years trying to find his birth/baptism. Can anyone help me locate him please?

Definitely on the right track there BMD as the father's occupation on Charles' adult baptism and his marriage was flax dresser.
