An Ancestry tree has the marriage as 1816 and her name as Mary Byrd - no evidence given though! |

No it isn't i don't think, as the James they had was 20 years old n the 1841 census and according to the 1841 census Mary was a als0 b0rn in 1800 |

The only census i have his wife on is the 1841 but Benjamin was not with her at the time then on the 1851 census she was remarried. |

I know this is a long shot but i am looking for the parents of Benjamin Smith who was married to a Mary. Benjamin was born in abt 1800 in Worcestershire he and Mary had 7 Children and Mary later remarried and became a Hunt. |
