You have him in GR trees born 1850 AND 1851

There's a tree on Ancestry ( well there are several, mostly unsourced) has William married to

I have a copy of james boddy marriage cert and all it says father William boddy. so I whent back in dates to see a marriage for William boddy and see if I could find the two of them in the same house . then I when ford but have not find any thing about jame boddy family

If you read carefully what is posted, you will realise that I referred to the BIRTH someone else posted on here

Just take the sensible course of action, and buy a copy of the man's marriage cert, to find out if he knew who his father was

I am sorry Reggie it looks like I have up set you . I was only seeing if any one out there could help. and no james boddy was not died in 1857. he lived to 84 and died west cost new Zealand 1936.

I think perhaps it might be as well to add that Reggie means don't post any more threads on the same family, return to the thread you already have and post on there :-) That way everyone can see what has been found already.

The easy solution is to buy a copy of the marriage cert......for factual info about his father

well, the obvious place to start is to buy his birth certificate :-)

That will give you all the information .......... where he was bron, name of his father, and of his mother, plus the exact date of birth
