My grandfather ,William Thompsett was born 1904 and died in 1959.The year I was born. His parents were Alice Harrison and William Thompsett. They were not legally marri3d, but she took his name.Together they had 4 children., Benjamin, William.Dorothy(?) and Glaydis.
My grandfather married Ellen moore and had 2 children with her.My dad keith was one and the other Kay my aunty.Unfortunately they divorced and both remarried. William Thompsett married Winifred Kent,(although she was already using the name Thompsett at the time), and they had two children Benjamin,(also known as Jimmy) , and Ruth.
What I am really looking for is a photo of my grandfather. So please if anyone can help I would be delighted.

Julie, very unlikely that anybody with such a photo would just happen to see this thread. You would do better to try to find another of his descendants who might have one. Try putting his name into Search Trees and then contacting anybody with him in their tree.

A third thread on same topic

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/general_chat/thread/1340887

As Julie is new to the boards, she may not have realised that it is undesirable to post more than one thread on the same person or topic, as it can cause helpers to duplicate work already done - better to nudge up the original thread.

You seem to have been more successful in finding useful information than I was, Rose :-)
