I am new to this site. Is it possible to see people's family trees. I know that a person I am looking for is on a family tree somewhere, but unable to see the tree. Do I have to ask the tree owner's permission to view it?

Yes, you do.

Click on the 'Find out more' button next to the tree owner's name.

TIP:

Don't send the standard GR message........most people ignore them.

Give some info about how you're linked...........then hope for a reply

Joye, if you click on "Family Tree" up near the top next to "Home" then your tree is displayed.

At the top should be your name and under that in blue/gneen "View other trees".

If you have been given access to other trees then the ones you have access to will be listed.

Just click on the one you want to see.

do remember that you can only see trees after you have been given permission by the tree owner .

Otherwise, trees are closed.

My brother, photo taken in September 1991 just a couple of weeks before he died. ............................................................ To help us and to get better results, please post as much detail as you can, especially name, date(s) and place. Also say what you already know.
