Thanks Jan, would be great if you had second sight! I don't think the latter is connected as the age doesn't match up! I must admit I have got myself in a bit of a muddle as I have been trying to look into various family members to try and find a Danish link! Along the way I found the Schoolmaster and hoped to find something interesting there. I guess my search will be a long one but shall continue although I only have Platinum on here! |

The image is on Ancestry - they have marriages and banns for Liverpool. (Maybe I should have said I have second sight!!). |

The witnesses are on the bottom of marriage cert - neither is Edward. They are Richard Burns and Charlotte something (Sneath??)! Address Gt. Howard St. |

Sorry for not replying before Shirley and Gwyn, I didn't think anyone else could help! Thank you for information Shirley regarding birth in Ireland, I did manage to find that out as well, with regards to Edward as wittiness to the marriage I am not sure, how would I know? Thanks for giving time to this. |

His Son George married Jane Hodkin at St Nicholas Church Liverpool. I have the certificate of marriage. I have no other information and would love to be able to find out more. He could possibly be listed on the 1861 census at the school depending on what type of school he worked at. |

I have a marriage certificate dated 1860, Fathers Rank or Profession is stated Schoolmaster. I don't suppose there would be any way of knowing which school he was a master of.......a long shot I know particularly as they lived in Liverpool! |
