Please can someone help me find a birth for Keturah Palmer 1829c. I have found a marriage and census. In particular Keturah's Mothers name. Thank you in advance for any help given.

Does she come from Berkshire?

There is an entry on the IGI on familysearch.org for a Keturah Palmer born 1836 in Brightwalton, Berkshire. Gather George and mother Keturah.

It's the only one that comes up anywhere near the 1829 that you give.

Thanks Kath, Keturah has Mother Elizabeth father as yet unknown, I believe they came from Suffolk. It is interesting that you have found that one though as Keturah married David Brett 1848. I did note on one census that Keturah was spelt with a C, I wonder if I am barking up the wrong tree! Thank you for help. X

Do you have a copy of the 1848 marriage cert?

If she is definitely your relative, the solution is to get one, for the father's details

her birth is too early to have been recorded. her baptism is the best you can hope for

EDIT: The unmarried is a transcription error, it says she's married on the image. Her mother was shown as a washerwoman on the image of the 1841 census, too.
