It may not help in this case, but I did once find the death of a baby registered in the quarter before the birth was registered. A death is registered more or less straight away whereas there is up to 6 weeks to register a birth. |

I am trying to discover the death record of my aunt who died as a baby, don't feel comfortable talking to living relatives as it was all very hush hush and never discussed as far as I know (so not sure what they would know anyway) but although I can find her birth record there is nothing when I search for her death. I have only looked in the district where her birth was as I don't think they moved during this time. Any ideas? |
