Social Security number I have 2 different ones.

I don't know if its even worth getting a copy of a death certificate if there is such a thing in America. I have quite a lot of information on this lady but am hoping for an address or information of next of kin for example. Would this information be recorded on the American Certificates?

There's a lot of information to be found about her, she seems to have married a Sergei Radamski in 1930 (although there is a possible death registered in her maiden name) and crossed the Atlantic several times.

She was a singer, born Motherwell

Since there's no uniformity on what's recorded on a UK d.cert (and you've only got 4 states, even if you call them countries), it's unreasonable to expect uniformity on info on US d.certs.
What you're likely to see is her place of death, her usual abode, her marital status (i.e., S/M/W/D), and the name and address of the informant (who might be the n.o.k.), and maybe their relationship to the deceased.
It's also likely that the record will be closed for some time, and the time's likely to be in excess of 25y.

I checked the SSDI hit on FS & FMP and neither list a zip code for her death, just the state.
Unfortunately NY doesn't have one central repository for its BMDs - it has one for NY city, and another for the rest of the state.
