I wonder if anyone can hlep me. I was baptised at St Johns Church, Stratford, London E15 on July 31st 1935. Although I have an ornate 'certificate' which I found in my Dad's 'tin box' after he died, it is not an official baptism record. I would like to know who my Godparents were and although I have twice emailed the church (I live in the Midlands) I have never received a reply. |

Try emailing the Office, but cc to the other names on the list. You could ask if they still hold the register, or where it is if they don't. |

It looks as if the Register has been passed to Essex Archives - you're going to have to contact them and purchase a scan of the image. |
