I went in the library last week to look up electoral list for 1923-1925 to see who was living at 3 Sidney St,Chorlton on Medlock,but no books to tell me what area of Manchester to look up.Any help would be appreciated.

You can try this on google:

'which ward is Chorlton on Medlock in'

and it should come up with ward this area is in, and then you will know which Electoral Roll to look at.

Researching:
We are all of us in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars, Oscar Wilde New avatar, my dad age about 3/4 months, could have been worse, it could have been the awful nude on a rug!!
