Yes, I have all the marriage details including the GRO ref. The info on Ancestry just shows the banns, not the actual marriage details, from which I was hoping to confirm the name of the bride´s father (I already have all the family info for the groom))& I think I know who the bride´s parents were, but if I have the right chap, his place of birth changes with every census so I need to find some confirmation. |

Despite being RC, perhaps the additonal cost of a Registrar made it easier to marry in CoE? |

Have a couple who were catholics who married in 1932, but have found banns called for them in the CofE church. |
