If you select full view it does show someone who has married twice as a copy in a different part of the tree.

If you select immediate family it shows that person with all their partners and previous and subsequent generations.

It doesn't show directly that you are still married but there is a divorced box in the data for a marriage.

So if a person is liiving and the box is not ticked then the assumption would be that they are still married.

thank you. I added his first wife and its put him on again but as a copy no lines joining.
I might not put her on.

I'm not 100% sure about how it displays spouses but I assume it takes the marriage dates and the first will be on the left and the last on the right.

Provided that you set the correct parents when adding children, they will be shown on a line coming from the two parents.

One thing to be careful of is that you need permission to put living people on your tree.

A lot of members ignore that rule but if pressed Genes may remove a living person from your tree.

You can set your tree so that it does not display details of living people, should you share your tree with anyone, but it does not stop them being found in searches.

Thank you for replying to me. If I add his first wife will it show that I am his second and still married. And that the children are not mine.

You just click on your husband and select Add.

It then gives you the choice of adding Sibling Spouse or Child.

Select spouse and add his first wife.

Then select him again and Add and Child.

It will then give you a list of your husband and his spouses.

Select the appropriate pair and add the childs details.
