Kim, I have looked at Results for Deaths At Sea, 1781-1968 on fmp but cannot find anyone deceased on the 8th of May. |

A search on Google suggests that the ship docked in Brisbane, Australia on 16 March 1950 and by September of that year was back out to Sydney. |
