Many thanks Jan - I had found the other roads mentioned and I think I've found it right at the edge of an old parish map - it ran north off Quaker Street, now appears to be a patch of land for development. |

Did you notice the mention of Hanbury St 1911? This still exists, as does Grey Eagle st, which is also nearby on 1881 census. |

Looking at 1881, it seems to be near Quaker St - this still exists and can be found on Googlemap. |

I know that there are several sites detailing old London streets and maps etc. but I seem to be having a bit of a blind spot with this one! I have a death in 1866 in Queen Street, Spitalfields and it seems that this became Rowland Street at some point. However I have no idea where, on a present-day map, it might have been. Any ideas???? :-D |
