Hi, can anyone help please
I have added a relative to my tree and his children but it shows him as the father of all the children but not his wife. I have tried all ways, but when I add the wife as the children's mother it just doubles up.
Will I have to delete it all and start again?

You say you have tried "all ways" - can you specify which ways you have tried?

Did you add the relative, and then his children, and then try to add the wife later?
If so, have you tried deleting the wife and the children, then "marrying" the couple first before adding the children? (Just in case it makes any difference.)

When you add the children, make sure you allocate the right set of parents to them on the "Add child" screen.

Or maybe you worked backwards, with the children on your tree first, and then you tried adding the parents later?
When you say "it doubles up", do you mean the wife shows twice, or do you mean the whole family appears twice?

Sorry - probably not very helpful. Without knowing what you've already tried, and in what order you added these people to your tree, it's hard to advise.

Is the system actually adding the people in twice or is it just that they appear twice in the Full Tree view?

If the latter, then it isn't really a problem and the duplicated display boxes have an icon in the bottom right to say it is a copy. The people only appear once in the list.
