Hi! I would like to know a little more about what my dad did as he died when I was young. I also lost my mother young too so have never had anyone to ask these questions to. I know my dad went into the army to serve during WW2. Prior to this, my mum told me he was training in the kitchens of Lyons in London. After the war he returned to Yorkshire and opened a small transport café. I realise Lyons is a huge organisation but wondered if there would be any records of staff. Anyone got any ideas of where I could start? Many thanks! |
