I have found a newspaper notice for the death of Hugh Morgan Thomas in 1935 in Waldron Canada . can I find the death record online. I have tried here ,but it's not found it , I am subscribed here and to Find my Past , so do not want to sign up to another site .

Thanks. The rootsweb site is the one I found. don't know if he is the same one . It's such a common name I was hoping if I could find the record I could get more information. The one I'm looking for was born around 1879

As the newspaper has his u k address and they were a large well-to -do family I am surprised that it would be umarked . . but it was the other side of the world .

SK BMDs are closed for 100/75/70 y.
Your death is over 70y ago, so is available in theory.
However, the online index only goes up to 1917 at present.

One can search 1861-1916 for free (no transcriptions - just images) via:

1871-1901 was within 1 day of UK census day; later census nominal days were 24/6/1906 and 1/6/1911-1921.

I couldn't find your Hugh in 1901, nor 1921.
