https://familysearch.org/ is a free site which has a number of records

http://www.cyndislist.com/categories/#f is a FH research portal.

Ancestry.co.uk (subscription) also hold some (in German)

German BMD are held by province, rather than nationally.

Can anyone with information on where to go to find my grandfather who we believe was born in Bonn, Germany in 1891. Is there a online search engine for Germany?
